NICER - Nantucket Island Children's Equipment Rentals

Hi there!

As a mom, I know how exciting—and sometimes overwhelming—it can be to travel with little ones. That's why I started NICER Vacations, to make your family vacation stress-free. We provide everything your kids might need—highchairs, cribs, strollers, car seats, beach gear, tents, and games—and handle delivery and pickup right to your rental, so you can focus on making memories.

Deliveries arrive between 1–4 PM on arrival day, pickups are between 10 AM–noon on departure day, and items need to be left outside by 10 am. We have a flat-rate delivery anywhere on the island of $25. Please visit our FAQ sections for more information.

How does NICER Vacations keep equipment clean and safe?

We ensure that all items are kept in a climate-controlled environment. For cleaning, we use entirely natural cleaning solutions. These products are non-toxic, made from cosmetic-grade plant-based ingredients, hypoallergenic, and free from harmful carcinogens. They are beneficial for both your little ones and the environment.

How do delivery and pick-up work?

There is a $25.00 delivery fee to any location on the island. We guarantee delivery between 1 PM and 4 PM and pick-up between 9 AM and 10 AM. 

Your equipment will be placed in a secure area, either on the porch or inside the front door if it is unlocked. On the day of departure, please gather all items in one location inside or outside (weather permitting or under a covered porch) in a safe spot.

All rented equipment must be placed together at time of pick-up. NICER Vacations LLC. is not responsible for locating all rental equipment at time of pickup, unless special instructions and arrangements are made and agreed upon by both parties in advance.

If we arrive at the scheduled pick-up time and the items are not ready or still in use, requiring us to return later, a fee of $50 will be charged. Items  should be returned in the same condition as they were delivered. If you receive an item with a sheet, please return it, as the sheet is part of the rental. 

If any item is damaged or broken during your rental, please inform us as soon as possible so we can replace it for the next family.

If you choose to have some items delivered on one day and the rest on another, this will also result in an additional delivery fee. Please give us a 24 hour notice if you would like to extend the rental period to avoid charges and other rental fees.


We kindly require a minimum order of $100.00 for all purchases. Thank you for understanding!

What should I expect from your rental equipment?

Our equipment is refreshed annually and maintained to look and perform like new. We offer an excellent range of high-quality gear, and we take pride in our products. Additionally, we ensure that every item is sanitized after each use, adhering to the highest standards with non-toxic, eco-friendly cleaning solutions.

There will be a cleaning fee of $75.00 if items are returned in a dirty state. While we understand that rental equipment may not come back in the exact condition it was received, we do ask that it be returned clean. This helps us avoid extra time spent cleaning for the next client.

Additional charges may apply for any messes left on NICER VACATIONS LLC. products, including food and drinks, formula, excess sand, dirt, spit-up, art supplies, dirty diapers, urine, and sunscreen.

What happens if equipment is lost or damaged?

In the event that any equipment is lost, stolen, or damaged the client will be charged 150% of the item's retail value to cover replacement and associated administrative costs. We kindly request that you return the gear in the same condition it was in when it was delivered to you. 

Does NICER Vacations install rental equipment?

Unfortunately we are unable to install items that are rented from Nicer Vacations. However, we’re more than happy to guide you or provide instructions on how to set up or install anything you need. We also included how-to videos on the website for that extra tricky equipment. We've been there! 

What is NICER Vacations’ cancellation policy?

Cancellations that occur at least seven days before the rental period begins will be eligible for a full refund, minus a non-refundable processing fee of about 3%. If you cancel less than seven days but more than forty-eight hours before the rental starts, you will receive a fifty percent refund of all charges. Unfortunately, there will be no refunds for cancellations made within forty-eight hours of the rental period starting.
